Peaches & Cream Bars

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dairy Pure sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Dairy Pure milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 medium sized peaches pitted and sliced thin

Crumble:

  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cups rolled old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Glaze:

  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Dairy Pure heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare a 9×13 glass baking pan by coating the bottom and sides with butter.

Filling:

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the Eggs and Granulated Sugar. Add in sour cream and milk. Once combined add in Flour, & Salt. After combining, fold in Peaches.

Crumble:

4. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together Flour, Baking Soda, & Salt. Add in Oats, Brown Sugar, & Granulated Sugar, breaking up clumps of sugar as you combine.

5. Mix in melted Butter with a spatula until evenly combined. Put 2/3 of the mixture on the bottom of the prepared baking pan.

6. Pour the Peach filling over the Crumble. Evenly distribute the remaining Crumble on top of the Peaches.

7. Place in preheated oven on center of the middle rack and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the crumble on top is golden brown and the middle is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let cool down for 20 to 30 minutes.

Glaze:

8. In a small bowl, whisk together Powdered Sugar, Heavy Cream, & Vanilla Extract until glaze forms.

9. Once bars have cooled, drizzle glaze on top! Best served with vanilla ice cream!
